Australian Aboriginal Art found at Mason Gallery in Darwin, in the Northern
Territory, is art collected primarily from the Papunya, Kintore &
Kiwirrkura areas.
Australian Aboriginal Art work from this area is readily
recognisable with its distinctive Tingari designs and use of bright bold
colours. Designs painted reflect the dreaming stories of their cultural
past.
Many of these highly recognisable award winning artists travel between
their community bases and Alice Springs.
Home lands consist of areas about Balgo in the Kimberley's and small
communities of the Western Desert.
